Hey there, I’m Emma and I’m the owner and creative person behind Stamped With Love. Welcome to my website! I started metal stamping in 2014 whilst on Maternity Leave with Mini SwL1, I obviously felt I didn’t have enough on my hands with a newborn 😉 I posted some pics of what I was making on Facebook and have some enquiries from friends and family to make them pieces. It took me another 6 months before I thought I might turn this into a business. I still have my original piece on my handbag as a little reminder.
Stamped With Love was launched on the 1st April 2015 and I started out selling pieces on Facebook. In late 2015 I opened an Etsy shop and have recently passed 1000 sales! I launched my website in January 2017 and it’s home to my entire catalogue, I rebuilt it in 2019 as I needed something a bit more fun and functional and here we are today.
Over the years I have developed my skills and developed my style of hand stamped personalised gifts, I have my own signature font which I had made for me and it totally unique to Stamped With Love. I use only the best suppliers and source all of my blanks in the UK supporting a number of other small businesses. My main supplier also hand cuts all of my bespoke shapes, if you have a particular shape in mind that you fancy then I can probably have it cut – copyright permitting. I use stainless steel split rings and jump rings for my keyrings to ensure they stay strong for many years to come.
The majority of the blanks I use are aluminium, which is a lightweight but very tactile metal. I prefer these as a standard for two reasons: the price, as it is most cost effective than other types of metals, and because I can have lots of different shapes made since it is easier to work with. I can also finish these with a beautiful shine similar to sterling silver. If you prefer a heavier metal, I can offer pewter, stainless steel, copper or sterling silver blanks.
In 2018 I ran a Kickstarter to raise funds to have these amazing stick people made into stamps that I can use in my creations. These stamps were lovingly designed by Victoria Rodgers Creates (who also designed my logo!). Thanks to the amazing generosity of my followers on Facebook and Instagram including the amazing Gill from Gills Kitchen and Andy from Vibetail I managed to hit my £400 target and have these made into metal stamps.
You can see these creations used in my popular ‘Stick Family’ keyring that you can purchase here.
